The vulcanizing press with mechanical
pressure is particularly suitable for textile
conveyor belts up to 1,400 mm belt width,
but can also be used for larger belt widths.
The surface pressure is generated with
pressure spindles using a torque wrench.
The pressure bars are made of a very
high-quality aluminium which provides a
very high tensile and bending strength.
They are fixed with special draw bolts.
The heating platens are also made of
high-quality aluminium. They are heated
by flat tube heating elements and reach
140°C in approx. 20 minutes. For accele-
rated cooling we offer a compressed air
or water cooling system. The integrated
cooling ducts can cool the heating platens
down to 80°C within 10 to 15 minutes.

Vulcanizing Unit HDT hydraulic
The vulcanizing press with hydraulic pressure generates a specific surface pressure of up to approx. 140 N/cm², making it ideal for connecting conveyor belts with steel cable inserts.
The contact pressure is applied to the heating plate and thus to the connection using special hydraulic cylinders.
The pressure beams are made of very high-quality aluminum and therefore achieve a very high tensile and bending strength.
They are fixed with special anchor screws.
The heating plates are also made of high-quality aluminum.
They reach 140°C in about 20 minutes.
We offer a compressed air or water cooling system for accelerated cooling.
With the integrated water cooling system, the heating plates can be cooled to 80°C within 10-15 minutes.

Die Vulkanisierpresse HS mit Druckkissensystem zeichnet sich durch die geringen
Eigengewichte der einzelnen Komponenten aus. Die Druckgebung erfolgt über
ein ganzflächiges Druckkissen, das wahlweise mit Druckluft oder Wasser befüllt
wird. Sie eignet sich für das Verbindenvon Textil- und Stahlseilfördergurten.

Das Druckluftsystem kann einen maximalen Flächendruck von 70 N/cm² ausüben,
mit dem Wasserdrucksystem können bis zu 140 N/cm² erreicht werden.
Die Heizplatten zeichnen sich durch ihr geringes Gewicht und die bereits inte-
grierten Kühlkanäle aus. Durch eine ganz flächig ausgelegte Heizfolie und ein
ebenso ganzflächiges Druckkissen kommt es zu einer optimalen Temperatur- und
Druckverteilung.

Vulcanizing unit CL
The K & K compact press CL is manufactured by Künneth & Knuckle for belt widths of 650 – 1400 mm. The heating length is always 350 or 500 (540) mm.
The low weight of the entire press makes it very flexible and easy to handle.
The surface pressure is applied to the connection using a pressure pad.
It is suitable for connecting fabric conveyor belts of lower and medium strength classes (DIN 22102) at a maximum surface pressure of 70 N/cm2.
It consists of an upper and a lower part for quick assembly and disassembly.
Both heating plates and pressure pads are firmly connected to the upper and lower parts.
The controls for electrics and compressed air are integrated and therefore no separate ones are required.
Shortened vulcanization cycles are possible thanks to the integrated water cooling.
